Steph Touhey

I'm an intuitive abstract painter. I embrace the fluidity of the creative process and the pursuit of being present in each moment. I'm fascinated by how certain shapes, marks and colour combinations make us feel. I invite you to discover your own unique connections and interpretations from my artwork.

For me, painting is a meditative experience that quiets my mind and allows me to focus on the act of creation. Colours are chosen instinctively, and shapes layer organically throughout the process of building beautiful and unique abstract paintings.

I am currently based in Vancouver, Canada on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
